Trail Description: A nice circuit trail that explores the vineyard areas of this part of the Maindreieck wine region, which is easy and short enough for the whole family to do.

Dettelbach: Medium-sized lots on Am Maintor, Wuerzburger Str, and Mainstockheimer Str

Rail: Dettelbach does have DB train service, but be advised that the train station is 6 kilometers out of town (up by Effeldorf)!

Lots of nice scenery, and a charming wine town, untouched by mass tourism.

Several wineries are in Dettelbach, mostly in town or on the edge of the historic town district.

Biking: Geniesser Tour, an easy 49-kilometer cycling circuit on mostly dedicated bike path heading downriver, then upriver, covering Dettelbach, Kitzingen, Marktbreit, and Schwarzach am Main.

A nice, half-day hike, but beware the lack of shade!
