Comments: Visiting the Freixenet cellars is possible, if reserved in advance. The advantage is that it comes with a round-trip train ticket, out from and back to Barcelona. From the cellars (next to the train station), the trailhead is about 250 meters distant. It was a very convenient way to get there from Barcelona, visit the cellars, and hike the trail. See https://www.freixenet.es/en/wine-tourism/freixenet-wineries/visit-the-wineries

The town is in  the Alt Penedes county, which is home to numerous wineries.
